Location. Location. Location.

A rare single family home with a private, protected deep water dock and easy access to local amenities. Commuting to and from this home is easy: The small town of Perryville is about 1/2 way between Baltimore/Washington and Wilmington/Philadelphia. Major highways are US-40 and I-95. Commuter rail service to Baltimore and Washington is within walking distance of the house. Amtrack service is available through Aberdeen (6 mi) and Wilmington. BWI and Philadelphia airports are both about a 1 hour drive.

Perryville is on the Susquehanna River as it enters the Chesapeake Bay. Because of the volume of water coming down the river the saltier bay water is pushed farther downstream leaving Perryville on totally fresh water.

Thoughtful design for a high quality of life
Designed by Michael Ryan of Michael Ryan Architects, Loveladies, NJ and Philadelphia, PA this home was built in 1996. It was intended as a retirement home with a single master suite adjoined by a 2 bedroom guest house connected by a roofed walkway. A lovely spacious screened porch adjoins the Great Room with easy access to the kitchen which makes this the most used summer dining and entertaining spot in the house.  A courtyard formed by the main house, the guest house, a spacious 2 car carport, an oversized single car heated and air conditioned garage plus a garden shed maximizes the home's privacy from neighbors.
